BELLAIRE HIGH SCHOOL
FUTURE PROBLEM SOLVERS

Bellaire Future Problem Solvers (FPS) is a student-led team dedicated to solving real-world issues. Through our Beat the Heat campaign, we raise awareness about heat safety while making tangible community changes—installing murals, distributing resources, and advocating for better cooling solutions. By combining education with action, we’re working to create a safer, more heat-resilient community.

MARCH

Westbury Booth Event

We will host a booth at the Westbury Anniversary community event to serve the local disadvantaged neighborhoods with heat-protectant gear through distributing heatwave survival kits. We will place signage in the community and pass out pamphlets to community members. We will paint a white, heat-resistant mural to spread awareness on a large sustainable surface in the garden.
